Terms of service
Last updated: December 2024
By using Sumlo, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
The service
Sumlo is a web-based application that converts timesheet data into formatted client reports. We provide the tools; you provide the data and are responsible for how you use the reports.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately. One account per person - please don't share login details.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our systems
- Use Sumlo for any illegal purpose
- Resell or redistribute the service without permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer our software
Your data
You retain full ownership of any data you upload to Sumlo. We process your data solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
Payment and subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. You can cancel at any time - your access continues until the end of your billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion for unused service.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance, and will provide notice where possible.
Liability
Sumlo is provided "as is". While we work hard to ensure accuracy, we're not liable for any errors in generated reports. You're responsible for reviewing reports before sending to clients.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Sumlo after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
